the top picture is the children getting evacuated the other two are they something to do with rations?

Dear P7. I am a Primary Librarian at a British School in Quito, Ecuador, Latin America. We came to Ecuador from England in January, and I only started my job in September so when I was looking for ideas for activities to do with the students I found your web site. I think its a great site.
The students at the British School are mostly Ecuadorian but they have all their lessons in English, and are taught the same lessons as you. They speak Spanish as their first language.
The Year 6 pupils here have been studying WWII as well. They have done a display for the front hall in the school. They have made propoganda posters. They have been very interested in how children lived during the War, and in particular how the children were evacuated into the country. I would be interested to hear how you enjoyed studying about the War. Yours sincerley Kay Badham
